The 27th Cross-Strait Fair for Economy and Trade launched on May 18 at the Fuzhou Strait International Convention and Exhibition Center – located in Fuzhou city, capital of East China's Fujian province – featuring an opening ceremony and the 2025 Cross-Strait Chamber of Commerce Cooperation & Development Conference.
Under the theme "Deepening Cross-Strait Integration and Building Our Common Home", this year's fair – which ends on May 22 – is packed with four major events, two specialized promotions platforms and a series of high-level economic exchanges and industry matchmaking sessions.

The event has drawn over 1,000 Taiwan entrepreneurs, including representatives from more than 60 Taiwan trade associations and over 30 regional Taiwan business groups. Additionally, nearly 700 overseas Chinese from more than 60 countries and regions are participating.
The concurrent Global Investment Summit has also attracted over 1,200 delegates, including Fortune 500 executives, industry leaders and experts. It's already resulted in more than 80 signed projects with total investment exceeding 130 billion yuan ($18 billion).

During the opening ceremony, the second batch of 10 measures for the "City Life Circle" linking Fuzhou and Matsu was announced. They're set to further promote industrial collaboration between the two regions. The policies aim to enhance cross-Strait market integration, improve living convenience and deepen grassroots exchanges for Matsu-based businesses and residents.
Over the past 31 years, the fair has served as an important bridge for cross-Strait cooperation. This year's edition is expected to foster more industry partnerships, expand collaborative fields and open a new chapter of practical integration and shared development.
